In Service of our People

Welcome to Adult Academy. We are an Illinois Limited Liability Company producing a variety of media and providing personal services dedicated to filling the world with the principles of Empathy, Agency, Mutual Aid, Self Reliance, Resilience, and Kindness.

Our motto is: It’s not Magic. An empowered and respectful world won’t come about thorough hope. Prayer is a tool for meditation and reflection but it isn’t action. We must do the work needed to bring about a world where our principles thrive.

Please check out our various projects and learn more about us.

Creators who are looking to work with us should email create@adultacademy.media

About

The governing ethos of Adult Academy can be summed up with a phrase from the Wisdom of Tecumseh: “Seek to make your life long, and its purpose in the service of your people.”

We want to bring about a world filled with people who model and display the importance of Empathy, Agency, Mutual Aid, Self Reliance, Resilience, and Kindness.

We believe that structural inequalities exist around the globe. We believe that Black Lives Matter; Trans Lives Matter; Indigenous Lives Matter. We believe these statements are ethical statements and not partisan ones.

We believe that all art is political.

We believe that change is brought about through education, empowerment, direct action, and modeling.
